Your home landscape is your own little piece of the Puget Sound, a stunning region with a high diversity of ecosystems, a place to celebrate and protect. Imagine this: Your yard can be an outdoor living space that is a joy to spend time in and doesn't compromise the health of your family, pets, or any of the wildlife. You can enjoy robust landscapes that offer year-round beauty, right in your own backyard! Over the last few decades, the status quo for lawn care wasn't prioritizing your health or the health of the ecosystem.
Earthdance Organics is an organic and sustainable landscape company dedicated to restoring natural systems. From the creativity of sustainable design right through to ongoing organic lawn and plant care services, we have the ability to transform your property into beautiful living spaces that are safe for your family and pets while addressing the larger environmental concerns in your community. Once your project is finished we stay with you continuing to add natural and organic food for your plants and soils.
We understand it's hard to keep your lawn healthy and robust year-round while offering a safe environment for your family, pets, and wildlife. More traditional lawn care methods often compromise at least one of these aspects. Earthdance Organics is a bit different: we only offer 100% Organic services. Our Lawn Care Program focuses on building nourishing soils so your lawn will thrive without compromising the safety of your home environment. Even more, our goal is to work ourselves out of a job. By replicating and encouraging Nature's systems, your lawn becomes self-sustaining and resilient.
All of our ongoing services begin with a Soil Test, since healthy plants start with healthy soils. Please fill out this form if you're ready to schedule your Soil Test. We'll be in touch shortly to schedule a day for one of our experts to meet with you. We'll assess the condition of your property and gather a sample for a comprehensive Soil Test, for $179 +tax. At this point we are currently only servicing customers in the Puget Sound Area.
Sustainable Landscape Design is the process of meeting our clients' needs while also meeting the needs of Nature. We constantly look for ways for people and Nature to co-exist harmoniously. When you step into your garden we want you to find a place of healing for your body and mind, a place of recreation for your family and pets, and a place that encourages wildlife to visit often. Creating a garden that you want to spend time in is our goal. Of course, we want your garden as healthy for you as it is for your plants and the birds, butterflies and bees.
Holistic plant care replicates Nature's systems and focuses on restoring healthy soils. Healthy soils allow plant roots to establish symbiotic relationships, support plant cycles' innate rhythm, and allow plants to grow resilient to pest and weather challenges. We use a comprehensive Soil Test to assess what is out of balance, which determines our path toward thriving plants and a flourishing garden. Our goal at Earthdance Organics is to set your plants up for success and work ourselves out of a job.
Hard to believe but soon landscapers will begin to talk about spring clean up and fertilizer applications. Please don't have nitrogen applied to your gardens this spring. Nitrous oxide, which is released when nitrogen fertilizer is applied, is 300x more toxic than CO2. This short video explains how.
First harvest of dandelions from Bill's yard. All organic and CRAZY health benefits! The new growth is the best as it is easier to eat uncooked so this is the best time of year. Just mix them into your salads and you have fancy salad greens. Check out this link for 13 health benefits. https://.
What an 800-year old tree can tell us about ourselves. Lovely interview.
Great list to get you started.
So sad! It is a disease that gets spread from bird-to-bird. WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife is asking us to take down our bird feeders, including Hummingbird feeders.
