In 1995 I started Peterson Plumbing and Heating. After working for various companies in the community initially as an Apprentice Plumber, then a Journeyman Plumber and finally a Master Plumber I decided to go on my own. Actually, my last employer made the decision for me. We had a disagreement that, to my surprise, left me unemployed. I had always wanted to be self employed and figured now was the time. I remember asking my Father's advice and him telling me just be honest and fair. Our first office was in a 10 foot by 10 foot room in the basement of my Cicero home; the company quickly developed a loyal customer base and a fantastic reputation for excellent customer service.
