Merchants Moving is a premium moving service dedicated to delivering its customers a higher level of care. Eastman, Merchants Delivery, as it was then known, initially operated as a delivery service for local merchants, eventually adding local and long-distance household goods moving to its roster of services. After returning from World War II, second-generation leader A. W. Eastman diversified the family enterprise to include an IH/Navistar truck dealership as well as a truck rental and leasing company.

Plus, if you're interested in a career as a long-distance driver, Merchants will train you for your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) while you're working and earning a wage! Requirements: no experience necessary; willingness to travel over extended periods of time; over 21 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent; current, valid drivers license with no restrictions (except eye wear); excellent driving record; physically able to do heavy lifting up to 60 pounds and pass a DOT physical and earn your CDL if you don't currently hold one.
