We needed a total yard clean up & decided to go with Lewis Landscape Services after getting a few quotes from different companies. Even though it was a holiday, the team showed up as scheduled & were incredibly thorough & professional. Our yard looks amazing! We'd definitely recommend this company to friends & hope to work with them again in the future.

I contacted Lewis Landscape based upon seeing their crews in my neighborhood in recent years doing yard maintenance and hearing positive things about their work from a neighbor. However, after what seemed like a promising start, I never ended up doing business with this company.
I completed their website contact form with a description of the services I was looking for (a general yard cleanup to be followed by the creation of new flower beds and plantings). Someone from the office got back to me quickly to say that they were scheduling things a few months out and we set a date. A few days later they called to say some earlier times had opened up, which sounded great.
When their person (I believe it was Andi) showed up, she very quickly indicated that they weren't interested in doing the work I was looking for. She said that they were primarily a hardscape company, they were very busy, there were other companies out there that would be better for me, etc. She did say that if I wanted a general yard clean up, that would be done by a two person crew for a cost beginning at $1,900 (but would be more like $2,500)! And, although she said she would follow up with an email with details, nothing was ever received.
I guess if they don't want to do the type of work that I'm looking for, maybe they could delete those services from their website? Or when I contact them and say what I'd like, they could respond by saying that really isn't what they're looking to do? I mean, why waste everyone's time for no reason?

We started with a comprehensive landscape project for our house on a modest slope and -- with smart additions and on-the-spot changes worked with project manager Donald Seymour -- we ended with a great new garden space, terrific patio, new front yard and super pathways around the house. Crew chief Mauricio was extremely competent in laying out a retaining wall on the terraced slope, putting down the patio and directing the team. The entire crew communicated well, was accessible and paid attention to our needs. On a project of this scope and complexity -- which also included drainage considerations -- we invested up front in a project design informed by Donald's strong experience. We also planned for additions, which in our case cost about 5-10 percent more. Nonetheless, Lewis Landscape made other changes within the contract to meet the goals. Overall, a great professional effort by a reliable company at a reasonable cost.

So far it been magnificent and worth every dollar ; can't wait to see the overhang they'll be doing last

Lewis Landscape just finished a 6 day project at our home, re-doing our back yard and installing a paver stone patio. Donald was our project manager and came out to our home, gave us a timely estimate, started and completed the project on time and on budget. The four man crew was hard working and focused on the job. Our yard turned out way better than we expected, in fact they cleaned up other parts of the yard that were not a part of the project which demonstrated their professionalism and pride in their work. We are so happy with the final result! Everything worked smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely use them again for another project.

I contacted Lewis landscape back in June for a full back yard makeover. I didn't realize how busy they are and that it would take a full 2 months before they could get to my job, once I scheduled. I picked Lewis landscape, as one of my co-workers used them. I was amazed by their work. I was also impressed by the photos on their website as well.
Brad Steyskal, who I highly recommend, was so attentive to detail and oversaw the project from start to finish. He came out almost everyday to inspect the work of his crew and made tweaks and suggestions as needed. I have to say, I was a little sticker shocked when I received the quote. However, this is something I knew my family and I would enjoy for many years to come. Once the work was completed (last week), my wife and I asked ourselves why we waited so long to do this! The space is Stunning! We just enjoyed a fire in our new fire pit tonight. It's the perfect space.
I want to mention that I initially removed some of the work to keep the cost down, but then decided to add it back in once the work started. So glad I did!!

We just had our front and back yards redone by Lewis Landscaping. My wife and I are quite pleased with the price, process, and ultimate result that was delivered.
Our project manager was Scott Wilson and the job foreman was Oscar. Scott was incredible to work with. My wife and I weren't sure what we exactly wanted when we started the project and Scott did an incredible job listening to us, and translating our ramblings into reality. They worked with us on our budget and saw the project through to completion including the minor punchlist of a mis-firing sprinkler head or other minor adjustment.
Oscar and his crew were friendly and hardworking and did a great job. The project started on time and finished only minimally longer than they projected, but were dependent on my electrical contractor, which caused part of the minor holdup.
I can't speak to the negative reviews posted here as our experience was positive. Me being a salesman, I can tell readers that the old saying, "The customer is always right", is not true. Often the customer is wrong and many times have unrealistic expectations on price and/or service. We had another local landscape company bid the job, and found them to be more expensive, less flexible, and harder to book on the calendar.
Kudos to Scott and Lewis Landscapes. Happy customer here.
