This year marks my 40 year anniversary since obtaining my general contractor's license. My, how time flies! Along with having relocated to the Napa Valley, I've scaled back our operations to the point where I'm only serving a small select group of past clients in the East Bay. Carpentry duties are still being performed by the inimitable Giulio Columbo with an occasional curtain call from Neville Roddie on a case by case basis. If you have larger plans in mind I'm happy to refer W.A. Rose Construction, based in Oakland, with whom I enjoyed a two year association from 2018 to 2020.
Hey y'all ..... most of my posts these days seem to be relegated to my personal page. I'll work on changing that soon with all sorts of pretty pics from some of our recent work.
One of Napa Valley's biggest tourist attractions is also one of its most significant architectural achievements!
Check out the latest installment of my column "The Built Environment", profiling my great friend and colleague, Deva Rajan. It's in this week's edition of The Montclarion!
Fog Studio came to visit the shop recently. Check out the photos!
The Bay Area lost a great guy and a great architect last week. I'm proud to have known him.
