Over the period of 27 years we have lived in our house, we had three separate roofing companies come in to help us to try to find and fix the source of the leaks we experienced. Each time we were disappointed with their level of customer service (i.e., it was always difficult trying to make an initial contact and then trying to get them to return calls) as well as their finished product - since the leaks eventually returned. I can sincerely say that this was never a problem with Pecario. I received a prompt reply shortly after I reached out to them with my initial inquiry. They were extremely flexible in terms of offering time and date options for our initial consultation in order to accommodate our schedules. The tag line on the firm's advertising materials states "Three Generations of Quality Workmanship" - so when the time came for this meeting, we were impressed that we would have the chance to meet two of the three as both Dominic Precario and his father Joe Precario attended. After initial introductions and having us provide them with the history of our roofing problems, they indicated that they we would need to go up on the roof and access its current condition. Once they had completing their inspection, they came down and showed us pictures they had taken of the various trouble spots that existing throughout the roof due to the combination of the extreme weather conditions we experienced over the years as well as some shoddy patch-work attempts by the previous firms we had contracted in the past. They made it perfectly clear to us why we needed a new roof while explaining why the materials and methods they would employ (and their Golden Pledge Warranty) would guarantee that we would not be in this same position (i.e., dealing with leaks and other issues that stem from an inadequate roofing job) for our lifetime. They also showed us a brief slideshow presentation details the remarkably successful family history of the firm and it many satisfied customers. Right there in front of us they took the time to specifically right out every service they would provide (as well as the lifetime guarantee) for the fee quoted so that there would be no potential for memory lapses leading to future disputes. We signed a contract that same day and we never looked back with any regrets. They took care of obtaining all the necessary permits from the town and once attained, set a start date for the work. True to their word, they started and finished the job on schedule and much to our complete satisfaction. Anyone who has ever had this type of work done, knows that the process can create quite a mess. They were very careful to keep this to a minimum while work was in progress and then made sure that the house was immaculate when they left. Along the way, they continued to be extremely prompt in replying to any questions or requests we had (we were able to contact them by e-mail, phone and text). In addition to the work on the roof, we also contacted them for some repairs inside the house and they also were very accommodating in working with our schedule and again we were extremely happy with the finished product.
