Julie K. Brown, CSI, CCS, SCIP, principal, was educated at Ventura City College and San Bernardino State College. Ms. Brown has owned her own design/build firm and combines this expertise with her experience on building delivery systems to bring a fresh approach to the services provided by the firm. Ms. Brown holds a Construction Document Technologist Certification from CSI and is a Certified Construction Specifier. Ms. Brown was on the board of Construction Science Research Foundation (CSRF) and was the chair of CSRF's Technical Review Committee for SPECTEXT® updates.
