DoorRestore was launched in 2008 by Steve Lightfoot and Heath Shannon who combined have nearly 20 years of experience in the door industry. They own and operate Grand Door Company, Inc., a custom wood door manufacturer in College Station Texas. After years of visiting with many Grand Door Company customers both before and after the sale, it became apparent that the necessity of proper finishing and routine maintenance of any wood door is something that most people are not aware of. Steve and Heath started DoorRestore to provide these needed services to the local community with plans to eventually expand into other cities.
