Every year we travel to the same red door to take a family photo and hope to carry on the tradition for years to come. For us letterpress has same effect - we want to keep the craft alive for decades to come. We specialize in hand-printed cards, broadsides, social stationery, gig and event posters, corporate branding, workshops and much more. Established since before 2012, our small shop is located in the wonderful city of Des Moines, IA at Mainframe Studios, Studio 120. Deep down we just have a great love of type, printing makes us happy, and we just like red doors.

Despite the Governors decision yesterday, we still require masks worn in the shop for open studios and appointments. We’ve come this far to care for each other and have no need to spiral backwards. Help do your part so we can all hang out again safely some day soon.
