Bluestone flagging makes very beautiful sidewalks. Over the last few years I have built quite a few sidewalks using this material. It can be dry-laid on an item 4 base with stone dust similiar to the way concrete pavers are installed. It also can be installed over the top of existing concrete sidewalks or on. Natural stone veneer is a project that you do not come across very often these days. It's counterpart, Manufactured Stone or " Cultured Stone" has made headway into replacing this type of job.
Hi I am revamping my website. I would like it to be more interactive. This will not only be the place for you to come and review my past work but also to plan and get ideas for your project. I started out being exposed to the masonry business as a child when my father would bring me to jobs with him. Back then a day seemed as if it lasted forever. I remember loving to play in the big piles of sand and making little cement balls from some of the cement they mixed for their work. As time went by and I grew older I tried working at a few other jobs but I was drawn back to masonry.
Spring will soon be here. I can always use some small jobs to fill my schedule. Many one day projects can be accomplished with a budget of $350.00. If your curious about getting a small project finished give me a shout.rick@masonguy.c om
Perhaps my most favorite type of project in the masonry business is working with natural fieldstone, the type of stone found on the many stone walls around here in the northeast.
There is still time to get those small repairs done before Winter and now is a good time for me to do them. Give me a call.
