Key Concepts is a family owned and operated Locksmith business, located in Salem / Keizer Oregon. Established in 1998 we specialize in everything from hi security safes to residential lock changes, and from high security sidewinder car keys to commercial door hardware. We strive for ethical and professional service to leave you with 100% satisfaction and the peace of mind that you are safe and secure. I am still in awe, I was told that a door remote for my car could only be purchased at the dealership which was approximately $170, and that my key being hard to open my car door was common for my type of car and so thought I was going to be stuck with this irritating issue.

We are a Full Service Locksmith. That means we can do a lot to help you including tracking lock & key sets across multiple offices, commercial door closers, automating your home, and well you get the idea. Please check our services section for a complete list of services offered broken into categories for your car, home or business to make it easier to view. Still have questions, just give us a call! I am always standing by ready to answer any questions you have and to help in any way I can.

Saw resistant bolts are often used in high security deadbolts in order to deter any break-in attempts using a saw blade. The pins make any sawing difficult because they spin back and forth with every movement of the blade.

A security strike plate comes with every door lock, and the place where it's attached to the doorframe is usually the weakest point in the entire system. Ask your locksmith about high security strike plates that are made with heavier metal and secured with more stable screws.

A good deadbolt lock should be secured with screws at least 21/2 to 3 inches long. Talk to your locksmith about purchasing a grade 1 or grade 2 lock, both which are strong and can often withstand exterior force from kicking, prying, or hammering.
