Home Builders Association

A non-profit Association comprising some 400 companies in the home building industry. Our members include home builders, remodelers, developers, trade contractors, suppliers and related industry professionals based in Hartford, New Haven, Tolland and Middlesex Counties of Connecticut. HBRA of Central Connecticut strives to protect the American Dream of housing opportunities for all, while working to achieve professional success for its members who build communities, create jobs and strengthen our economy.

The Council serves members that specialize in, or are associated with, the remodeling aspects of residential construction. The Council members share the common goals of providing quality, service, and value to their customers, increasing professionalism and developing leaders, and improving the performance of its members. Members of the committee represent the remodeling industry and receive the benefit of consumer marketing programs, essential education, professional designations, and the experience of their professional peers.

The Home Builders & Remodelers Association Charitable Foundation was established, and recognized by the IRS, in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization and is dedicated to being the philanthropic arm of the Home Builders Association of Hartford County. The Foundation's mission is to highlight the commitment and generosity of HBRA members and the building industry by creating a better quality of life for residents in central Connecticut. This is done by supporting community organizations, contributing to community service projects, and providing scholarships for students and member employees pursuing a education and a career related to the building industry.
