They say the kitchen is the heart of the home and that's certainly true for our clients. In fact, a lot of our long term projects begin with a kitchen renovation and continue through other areas of the house. The kitchen is, by far, one of the most used spaces in any home - it's where people gather to cook, eat, and share. Kitchen flow is incredibly important for the function of the space. Cabinets need to effectively hold weight, electrical outlets should be numerous and spaced correctly, ample space should be allotted for the latest appliances to ensure they are safely oriented in the floor plan, and there should be enough floor space to allow people to cook together without creating obstacles for one another.

Kitchen remodels are, by far, the most popular remodel for homeowners and for good reason. The kitchen is usually the busiest room in the home - after all, it is where families gather to cook and share a meal together. While kitchen remodels are the most common type of home update, they also require the most decision making. There are many factors that go into creating a functional and beautiful kitchen and working with a custom home builder like Renz Construction means even more personalized potential for your space.
There are two types of new home builders: production builders, also known as high-volume home builders, and custom home builders. Both types of builders are solid options and each can provide a great new home. Production builders offer a variety of pre-designed home plans with a menu of design options that home buyers can use to customize the layout of their choice. While there is some customization involved, the choices are limited. Custom home builders do not have a series of pre-designed layouts, but rather, work with the client and an architect to build an entirely customized home based on the client's needs.

While organizing the new pictures from December 2020 (finally) I came across this one. It was taken in 2012, right after we closed on our first home. So many memories came back to me. We have been through so much as a family and company since we first started in 2008. We are so grateful and.
The loft area above the 2nd floor on our Hartland remodel is such a fun space! There is so much room up there! We tiered the floor for functional flat space as the original pitched roof is below and can't be removed. That was not on the original plan, however once the loft was framed we.
