1# I had Wellington replace my 11'x12' foot multi window in my living room. The install was poor and they would not replace the rotted wood under the window. Their install was so poor that it leaked water into my living room when it rained. I called to get them out to look at it but after many calls (poor customer service) they ignored me. I called the city and found out they did not pull a permit, so i called and left a message threatening to take them to court. They called me back within minutes. After much discussion they reinstalled my window, that took a better part of a year. Although they never placed the flashing around the outside of window, i had to have the siders do it in-which cost me a little extra.
Signed Purchase agreement for patio door in March, 2014. Install was performed Mid April as promised. Door arrived with no sliding screen door. I am also not satisfied with install or quality/ craftsmanship of unit. Gaps in the 45 degree mitered vinyl corners on inside. Screws on latch & latch locking plate not screwed in flush/straight - or even completely screwed in. wood trim on inside not tight against wall, Outside vinyl bottom piece cut to short, revealing a gap, Weather stripping on sliding door is not sealing with stationary panel. I have contacted them on more than one occasion with promises on their end but still no results plus I still don't have a sliding screen door! I cannot recommend Wellington since they have not resolved these issues in a timely manner. : Bruce, Maple Grove, MN
