Woodworks Furniture was founded in 1977 in Sandy, UT. At that time, the store was just 1,100 Square feet, and we sold mainly unfinished furniture. Since that time, we have expanded several times, and we currently occupy a 35,000 square foot building in Sandy. We changed our name to Vintage Oak in the 1980's to better reflect the type of furniture that we offered at that time. Times do change and we now offer much more that just oak furniture. We constantly strive to be the best in the business when it comes to providing high-quality furniture to our valued customers.

As times have changed, we have expanded our furniture collection to include several classic styles and types of furniture.

We believe that lasting furniture begins with solid wood. Many stores sell furniture that has the appearance of wood, but is fabricated with low-quality veneers and cheap components. Here at Vintage Oak, we believe that our customers will appreciate a quality piece of furniture, constructed from solid wood and wood veneers, that will stand the test of time. That is why we only sell top-notch pieces of furniture that have been hand-picked from our vendors. We also believe that solid wood furniture doesn't have to be expensive.

It has always been our philosophy to provide high-quality furniture at lower prices than our competitors. We are a smaller, locally owned furniture store with traditional values and lower overhead than larger, national stores. Our local dining and bedroom company offers custom made tables and hand-made chairs made out of solid hardwoods like cherry, oak and maple.
