The ReStore is Habitat for Humanity's discount home improvement store for DIY projects, treasure seekers, and home and business remodels. We sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies, home goods, and more. Habitat La Crosse uses 100% of ReStore profits to build and repair homes in the Coulee Region. We accept donations of new and used building materials, furniture, cabinets, appliances, flooring, plumbing, windows, architectural salvage, doors, lighting, fixtures, and more in working condition from individuals, remodeling jobs, business closeouts, contractors and builders, and garage sales!
This is what most people think of when they hear about Habitat for Humanity. With the support of donors and volunteers, we build homes for income-eligible families in our area. Partner families are selected based on specific criteria and contribute at least 350 "sweat equity" hours working along side volunteers to help build their homes. With ReNEW La Crosse Neighborhoods, Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area works within our community to make it a better place to live, work, and play. Every Saturday during the month of June, volunteers engage in home rehab and repairs, painting, new construction, weatherization, and yard beautification.
