I am out to change the reputation of handymen & women in general. Just the other day I had my van serviced. It was a little more complicated on what I could do & they provided me a quote based on the time they thought it was going to take. So they did the service work & it didn't take them as long as they thought. But instead of saying "Hey it didn't take us quite as long as we had planned so instead of the quoted amount you'll only need to pay $200 saving you $100."
This is what happens to frozen CPVC fire sprinkler lines and how they shatter. 😬 Easy repair but messy & expensive for the homeowner. The lines even had insulation on top of it but it couldn’t handle -1°.

I have seen first hand a house that left their hose on and an insurance claim later and new floors and drywall in a portion of their home they now believe too!
