PPA Painting

Deck Staining and Cleaning - We power wash and stain your wooden decks, fencing etc. Synthetic deck cleaning also available. Power washing for your siding, stonework, and wherever else you like! We can apply all finishes - clear coats, toners, semi-transparent and solid. If your deck has a good stain on it but is dirty and moldy we have the products to clean and brighten it up. Cracks up to one-quarter inch will be filled and wood splinters are locked down. Rough surfaces are smoothed out and the new surface will be mildew and algae resistant.

PPA is experienced with all types of alkyd / oil paints and industrial coatings. Last fall we painted the Dept. of Motor Vehicles building in Wilmington DE for the State of Delaware. The exterior portion of the job included preparing and painting the metal railings and support columns around the facility. We used an alkyd modified acrylic coating to prime the galvanized steel railings and top coated with a urethane alkyd enamel. A fast drying oil primer and enamel top coat were used for the support columns.

Interior Painting - This is where our detailed work is best seen. We take the necessary time to properly prepare all painting surfaces. No shortcuts or corner cutting here. Sanding, priming, caulking and drywall repairs are done right resulting in a beautiful paint job. We use only the best paints and finishes. They cost a little more but not only look better but last longer as well. Interior Staining - Expert wood staining starts with a proper surface preparation. Wood conditioners for new and soft woods are used - Sanding and and correct application of the stain and clear coat are essential.
