You'll see it in the vibrant colors of your office entryway, the durable aisles underfoot at the grocery store, and the warm, inviting kitchen floor that's been the stage for countless family celebrations. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest levels of innovation, quality, and service. That commitment has made us North America's largest producer of resilient flooring products. We spent the 20th century flooring America's homes, schools, offices, stores, and hospitals. In the process, we became North America's largest producer of resilient flooring products.

Protecting our planet is synonymous with good business. We consider the reduction of energy, greenhouse gases (GHG), water and waste impacts across our value chain, from sourcing our raw materials to our own manufacturing and operations. All Armstrong Flooring manufacturing plants maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 which includes continuous environmental performance targets. Manufacturing plants located outside of the United States including plants in China and Australia are third party certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Armstrong Flooring offers an extensive portfolio of resilient flooring products, developed to provide exceptional design, durability and value. We have more than a 150 year commitment to being the most trusted flooring resource known for superior service and support, uncompromising quality, and persistent innovation. It's evident in everything we do - and it's why more people confidently choose, specify, and trust Armstrong Flooring products than any other brand in the industry.

Innovation has always been part of Armstrong's DNA - integrated not only in product development but also in the way we operate our business and market our products. Not long after the company's founding as a cork-cutting operation in the 1860s, our earliest leaders were exploring additional lines of business. Leftover cork scrap and cork dust were springboards into the production of cork insulation and linoleum. Since then, we've regularly developed new procedures, equipment and products - ranging from no-maintenance floors to BioBased Tile made from rapidly renewable materials.

Throughout our history, one of our core values has been to act responsibly by recycling waste and conserving resources wherever possible. We started this effort more than 100 years ago by taking the waste from cork production and using it as a component in linoleum flooring. Today, sustainability continues as a core focus of our business. Our global Sustainability Steering Committee provides governance and sets business direction regarding material sustainability issues. This committee which meets at least quarterly is composed of senior leadership and championed by our CEO.
