RLO Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Robert and Joyce Orndorff. The company began with a single backhoe but it did not take long before they needed to add operators and additional equipment to address growing customer needs. The company originally installed residential water/sewer connections, septic systems and house footings. After purchasing the first loader they began pursuing residential excavating contracts. During the 1980's RLO experienced substantial growth which allowed the company to broaden their focus to both residential and commercial site development.
Sites frequently require that foundations, curbs and paving or even entire buildings be removed. We have the equipment to handle the job. RLO builds storm water management ponds which filter out pollutants and remove sediment before the cleansed water is released to the drainage system. Using primarily sub-contractors, RLO can provide our customers with water, sewer and storm drains as well as paving for their projects. RLO has a substantial fleet of trucks and is able to transport most materials and equipment ourselves.
