Environix opened its doors in the spring of 2003, with a vision to provide Western Washington with honest, professional solutions to complex indoor environmental issues. Soon after, we opened a training and certification school to fill the need for practical mold inspection and remediation training. This organization, MICRO, grew into the largest organization of its kind, certifying hundreds of technicians each year. In 2008, we began exploring options to meet the increasing needs of our customers.
At Environix, we offer a complete set of asbestos testing services for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Regardless of the size of your project, our team of professional inspectors can survey the area and test building materials in order to help identify potential threats. The term 'asbestos' covers a wide range of fibrous minerals that occur naturally. These minerals are malleable, extremely hard, and resistant to heat as well as most chemicals. Asbestos has been used in many consumer goods, which include paper, construction materials, textile products, and even car parts.
When we opened our doors in 2003 we quickly realized the standard approach wasn't really achieving anything for our clients. Sure, customers had a report showing how much mold they had in their home, but they didn't have an action plan to solve the problem. Mold testing does serve a purpose - it can successfully identify the type and quantity of mold. But mold spores are ubiquitous. Even the cleanest home will have thousands of mold spores floating around at any given point. Because of this fact, a mold testing report cannot provide the information you really need - what is causing the mold growth?
