Since 1987, McIntosh Grounds Maintenance, Inc. has been providing professional landscape installation and maintenance services to commercial and residential properties throughout Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline and Milan, Michigan. Commercial enterprises know that our commercial snow and ice removal services will keep their parking lots and sidewalks accessible and safe. You can depend on our professionally trained and uniformed employees, using clean, well-maintained equipment, to correctly, respectfully and punctually deliver services and beautiful results.
Maintaining beautiful turf means mowing at a height suitable for the species and the season. We carefully string trim areas we can't reach with a lawn mower and then machine blow all clippings off parking lots, driveways and sidewalks. Mechanical edging is available upon request. We grass cycle* your clippings, rather than bagging them, to feed your turf and help the environment. Your turf looks its best when grass has better access to air, water, nutrients and fertilizer through aeration*. It's one of the best things you can do for your lawn, and should be part of your regular maintenance.
Think of us as not only your experienced, prompt, reliable snow and ice removal service; think of us as your liability protection service, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. We track incoming storm events, alerting and preparing our team of snow and ice fighters in advance so your property will be safe and clear for visitors and employees. Our experienced professionals, armed with pre-purchased bulk salt, bagged salt and ice melt products and multiple types of equipment, can keep you up and running with a wide range of snow and ice management services.
"I don’t have a resumé. I don’t know what this machine does or how to work it. But I do look cute sitting on it."
Happy 31st birthday, Matthew! Matthew has worked for us since he was 16, which means he has worked at McIntosh Grounds Maintenance for over half his life. Hope you had a great birthday!!
The snow totals are in for November! 6.1 inches of snow fell by the end of the business day on November 30th (Sunday). Because of the warm weather, most of that snow did not stick to the ground. Ann Arbor’s average snowfall in November is 3.1 inches – which means we actually got three more inches than normal.
Happy Birthday, Brian! Believe it or not, this baby face is turning 40!! We are grateful for all your hard work. Enjoy your big day!!
