Lawn-Pro incorporates the use of organic based, granular fertilizers in all of our programs. Granules offer a more precise rate of nutrient release to your lawn, which encourages optimum results in the form of a greener, healthier lawn. All of our lawncare programs include INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT techniques which are cultural practices designed to significantly reduce control material use on your lawn.

IPM is a system designed to incorporate cultural and biological techniques into our lawncare program to enhance the general health of the lawn, while minimizing and possibly eliminating the use of pesticides. Some methods that are routinely practiced at Lawn-Pro are monitoring programs which allow our technicians to schedule special check-ups on lawns that appear to be most at risk of a possible disease or insect problem. If a problem is detected, typically the problem will be diagnosed to determine the best suited control method needed.

CORE AERATION: This process involves the mechanical removal of small cores of soil in your lawn to allow air circulation and increase moisture and fertilizer access to the turf root zone. Aeration also reduces soil compaction and disease activity to help create healthier roots and a thicker, lush lawn. CORE AERATION / SEEDING: This process is obviously a combination of both core aeration and seeding. During this process the entire lawn is core aerated, and then a generous amount of seed is applied to infiltrate the aerated soil and produce healthy growth in otherwise thin areas of the lawn.

IPM has been responsible for reducing weed and pest control applications by as much as 90% as compared to traditional lawncare programs. 100% ALL NATURAL MOSQUITO CONTROL: This process consists of approximately 6 liquid applications of all natural cedar oil per season (climate permitting). Our first 2 applications are applied within 3-4 weeks of each other followed by a continuous application schedule of approximately every 4 to 6 weeks during the active mosquito season. The program guarantees significant control throughout the season.
