Michael's tree service has been in business since 1990 in the Bakersfield area. I specialize in ornamental tree care. I trim every limb of the tree to look perfect, over time the tree will look even more beautiful then the first day I trimmed it.

If a tree is dead, dying or is in the way of new construction, then tree removal may be necessary let our arborist help you make an educated decision. Trees with any of these symptoms need to be looked at for possible falling. I can recognize the problem and then we need to take steps to save your tree or remove it for safety.

Stumps can live for years without dying. Suckers and shoots will grow until the stump dies. Grinding the stump allows immediate use of the property so don't live with your stump any longer!. Our workers will leave a wood chip pile where the stump use to be. Most people prefer this raked over the hole. These left behind shavings reduce in volume very quickly when exposed to rain and weather. If grass or a new plant is desired it is recommended that chips should be replaced with topsoil. A fresh grinded stump will be acidic and the mulch will need time to cure before attempting to use this mulch as planting soil, prior to curing the mulch can be used as a ground cover over established plants it will maintain moisture and will not kill your plants.
