I have used Doug Newhouse for 28 years! Moreover, I have a lot of trees and love them dearly.
First off, I can honestly say in 28 years Doug has never ever been even a minute late whether for a consultation or to trim the trees. He is dependable as the day is long in every way. Doug is always professional, caring and extremely nice. Additionally, he is a trained arborist and has helped me save some trees.
He keeps the same crew for years and they are always leaving the place clean and are considerate of the neighbors. Newhouse Tree Service may be a little more expensive than some, but, you get what you pay for, they are licensed insured and highly knowledgeable.

To my relief, Doug answered promptly, scheduled an appointment, and arrived punctually. We've used Doug Newhouse for several years to keep our trees alive and in good shape. He's knowledgeable about various tree problems, patient with our questions, and extremely professional in his dealings with us. While Doug does not do the work himself, his crew does an excellent job. They arrive on time (and usually earlier than promised!), take great care to be responsive to our special requests, and leave the area in pristine condition - often cleaner than it was before they started! Doug arrives with his crew to be sure they are clear on the parameters of the job. Although he does not remain throughout the job, he does check back in and makes sure he is present when the crew is finished, to address any added concerns that might have come up. Since this is a condo complex, individual owners often have special requests, may be somewhat anxious about the view from their units after the trimming or just hang out to ask lots of questions. Doug and his crew are consistently patient and always make an effort to accommodate all requests, no matter how annoying they might think us to be!
