The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive beetle that was first found in Michigan in 2002. This beetle only attacks Ash trees. Our Certified Arborist can determine if you have Ash trees in your yard at no cost to you. We can also provide cost effective solutions for dealing with this pest. The adult beetle does little harm to the tree. The larvae of the beetle cause damage by tunneling under the bark and disrupting the flow of water and nutrients in the tree. An Ash tree will show signs of an invasion by thinning of the crown.
