Welcome to Sherwood Tree Service-where trees are our passion and quality is our obsession. At Sherwood, we strive to help our clients meet their tree care goals and figure out what is best for their trees and property. Whether it be tree pruning for plant longevity or tree removal due to hazardous condition, we bring many years of experience along with the correct machinery, training and insurance that allow our clients to rest assured that their tree work is in the right hands. Wonderful company with a personal touch.
At Sherwood, trees are our passion and quality is our obsession. Since 2011 Sherwood Tree Service has been serving all of Tampa Bay, and previously Sherwood's owner, Tom, had been in the tree care industry from 1999 onward, both in North Carolina and before that Nottingham, England-the very home of Sherwood Forest! After starting Sherwood Tree Service Tom realized that while he loved being out working in the trees, he also learned he had an obsession with quality within his business-from the individuals he chose to work with to the outcome of every job and client interaction.
At Sherwood we pride ourselves on our ability to do a beautiful job of pruning trees. We hone in on our client's objectives in order to advise on how those objectives can be met through educated and long-term tree care. All of our team understands the thought process that goes into each and every pruning cut and at Sherwood we are all dedicated to continuing education on tree pruning techniques. It is common for us to perform a "crown clean, " a partial or slight "crown reduction, " an appropriate "crown thin" and a "crown elevation" all on the same tree.
Unfortunately, it is sometimes necessary to remove trees. As passionate tree lovers this is a last resort for Sherwood Tree Service. But when we do have to remove a tree we have the large machinery and experience necessary to make sure the job gets done safely and efficiently.
