We noticed that three of our ash trees were starting to die. We called around for pricing and received only two responses. Ray from Diggers tree service came out and confirmed that our trees were infested with Emerald Ash Borers and that the trees, like many on our street, would be dead by next year. He gave us a great price which included stump grinding. He advised that it might be a little time before he would get to us as they were booked up. Unfortunately, they came while we were not home. To our surprise everything was meticulously cleaned when we got home. Not even a wood chip in the grass. They had to come back to finish one of the trees that was blocked in. They made short work of a big job and left things cleaner then when they came. My neighbor was so impressed he had them cut his dead ash tree down as well. The guys were simply amazing and the price was even better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIGGERS TREE SERVICE!
Right before Christmas we hired Diggers to remove two huge trees in our backyard. The trees were close to the house and there was only one way to get the trucks into the back yard. It wasn't easy, but Ray and his team showed up two days in a row in the freezing cold and worked hard! They were safe, friendly, and extremely efficient. When they were done, they cleaned up our property, leaving it looking better than when they started. Also, the price for the job was very reasonable. Two thumbs up.
Wow!! What an amazing job! We called, they came out for an estimate, and our tree was gone in less than 24 hours! They did a great clean up job too, doesn’t even look like there was a tree there. Very professional, reliable and affordable. Highly recommend!
WOW!! So impressed! Digger's just finished taking away the huge tree that fell in our yard during recent storms. They were by far the best price and their service is impeccable!! The yard is completely free of branches and the dry dying leaves that had accumulated over the past 2 weeks. I highly recommend their services! THANKS so much
Are you concerned that getting rid of an unsightly stump in your yard will create an unsafe crater? Since we grind the stump, the resulting mulch is used to fill in the hole.
Softwood tree stumps typically won’t dry out if left in a yard, so they can grow mold. Living tree stumps can also draw nutrients away from the yard as they try and grow back.
If you happen to have a sick tree in your orchard, then chances are you'd want to destroy it before it infects the others. Make sure however, that you get rid of not just the tree but the stump as well.
The root systems of coniferous trees differ from those of deciduous trees. While the equipment to remove their stumps depends on the method of removal and size of the tree, it is easier to remove coniferous stumps.
Some Do-It-Yourselfe rs try to remove a tree stump themselves by drilling holes directly into the stump. This is not a good idea since these holes will do little to remove the stump and make it look even less appealing.
