Favreau Forestry is a locally owned and family operated business providing all phases of tree services including tree removal, tree pruning, hazardous tree removal, stump grinding, storm clean up, etc. to Massachusetts clients. In particular we offer residential, commercial, municipal and state agencies tree services customized to meet each individual client's requirements and budget. Stumps are unsightly tripping hazards and are difficult to mow around! Stump removal improves the safety and aesthetic quality of your yard and allows for replanting of the area. Nothing beats stump grinding as the fastest and most efficient way to remove an old tree stump from your yard. Bothersome stumps don't stand a chance when faced with a stump grinder operated by a Favreau Forestry crew member! Stump grinding and stump removal is a straight forward process. A high-powered stump grinder is brought in to literally grind down the stump, 8″-12″ below the ground level (sometimes lower depending in what will be done in the area.)

A: There are a number of reasons why a tree falls, usually a combination of factors including: location, wind, soil conditions, excess weight of branches, prior damage or disease, age of tree, and/or lack of tree maintenance. This is a big difference between Favreau Forestry and other tree companies. Our tree company takes pride in debris removal and clean up when the job is complete.

Tree Trimming is a method of tree care that helps control or correct growth patterns in trees. Trimming also used to enhance the growth and production of trees in particular for fruit bearing trees. Tree that are trimmed by an Arborist at the right time in their growth cycle have less chance of developing health issues and needing attention in the future. The amount of live tissue our Arborist's remove depends on the tree size, species and age as well as the pruning objectives. Good pruning practices rarely remove more than 1/3 of the crown.
