While as a company we promote the preservation of trees, removal is necessary for dead and hazardous trees. Tree removal is the most dangerous part of arboriculture, as trees often have to be removed in confined areas near homes and buildings. Removal of a tree or trees in these types of environments requires considerable experience, training and the appropriate equipment to perform safely. Our tree removal crews have decades of experience removing trees in a variety of situations. After your tree is removed, we can also remove the stump and surface roots below the surface with a high- speed stump cutter.
Many insects and disease organisms are attracted to the trees and shrubs in our landscape. Many of these have a minimal impact on the health of our landscape plants. There are, however, insects and diseases that can cause significant injury and compromise the health of your landscape plants and trees. Proper identification and diagnosis is necessary in order to recommend a treatment program. There are a number of insect and disease issues that require annual control programs, whereas others can be scheduled on a two or three year schedule.
While The Haupt Tree Company is not a landscape design or landscape installation company, we do in fact plant trees both large and small. Haupt representatives will make recommendations as to the best tree for your location. A properly planted tree will grow faster and live longer than ones that are incorrectly planted. Determining the correct tree for a particular location must include considerations for the correct soil pH, drainage, as well as shade and sun at the planting site. Soil: Soil structure, including composition and drainage can be critical to the health and growth of a tree.
