We create great landscape plans, but really plans are just the step between imagining your ideal landscape and bringing it to reality. The first landscape plans communicate concepts: what your new garden can become. Later plans take the chosen concept, add detail and depth to bid and build your new outdoor living spaces - where your dream becomes reality. At Luciole Design, we combine art with sustainable design principles to create easy-living gardens and outdoor living. Our designers aren't just landscape architects; they're artists and photographers, using artistic principles of line, form, pattern, color and contrast to create wonderful outdoor spaces.
Our work could also be called site design, site specific design or site planning. Landscape architects may check the progress of a project in construction to ensure that the design intent is being followed. In an ideal situation, the landscape architect and the architect would work with the client from the very beginning of the project to configure the building and the site to work together, considering topography, views, breezes, exposure, style and a host of other factors. Ideal situations are rare, however, so typically the architect completes his or her plans well before the landscape architect ever arrives on the scene.
