Founded in 1979, Dale Cox Architects is located in downtown Truckee, California. Committed to LEED building standards, the firm specializes in mountain-style architecture, resort design, luxury building and historic remodels, as well as more contemporary offerings. The firm has built more than 70 Lake Tahoe lakefront homes, ranging in size from 2,000 to 55,000 square feet, and has extensive knowledge in dealing with the region's extreme weather as well as local permitting and building regulations as mandated through the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA).
