Carhuff + Cueva Architects, Inc. (CCA) was founded in 1993 by Philip A. Carhuff. In 2011, Mark Cueva became partner after 13 years of employment. Together they offer a wide variety of full architectural services. For the last sixteen years Carhuff + Cueva Architects have dedicated themselves to satisfying clients in the educational, commercial, and residential fields often with demanding budgets and schedules. CCA has mastered the intricate and often problem-wrought renovation and addition project that requires intense study and information gathering of existing conditions.
Philip Carhuff brings to the practice a wide range of design talent and problem solving expertise in the educational design field. Philip started his career in New York for award winning educational facility architecture firms such as Pei Cobb Freed and Partners and Kaeyer, Garment & Davidson. Coupled with that experience, CCA has grown to be a local leader in producing cost effective and attractive educational facilities through Philip's design leadership and skill in managing budgets and schedules for over twenty Southern Arizona school clients.
With a focus the client's goals and success, CCA provides a wide variety of architectural services that, together, bring a project to a successful completion. Our expertise in the following areas sets us apart from our competition. A client's first contact with a new location is usually with a real estate broker who knows what sites are available for purchase or lease, but often cannot technically qualify the location as appropriate for the client's use, budget or schedule. CCA steps in early in site selection working with the client and broker to qualify sites whether it be for a school, housing or a commercial business.
