Through architectural design, planning, technology and technical expertise, we help clients develop, build, and manage important building assets. We are not limited by the size of a project, and we're known for finding sound solutions for complex systems, functions, and processes. We value collaboration, community, and working as a high performing team. At least one principal is intimately involved in each project. Senior staff mentors and guides younger professionals, and we balance ideas, technology, and the energy of professional youth with the keen insight of veterans.
Arrington Watkins Architects was founded in 1994 with a sharp vision of creating a different kind of design firm, one that would focus on the needs, goals, and successes of clients. We are a medium size firm with a diversely talented staff who have been instrumental in sustaining this vision and the core values that guide us every day. Many of our principals have been with us from the beginning, breeding continuity and consistency that build strong client relationships and satisfaction. We provide design and facilities management services to government clients, corporations, and contractor firms throughout the United States, with some projects reaching $320 million in construction costs.
At Arrington Watkins we are committed to designing spaces and buildings that improve the lives of others and meet the needs of our clients. The practice of architecture is the heart of our business. We have a holistic approach to design. As architects we look at structures as a series of systems, one complimenting the other. We start to define those systems aesthetically and functionally at the same time. We are passionate about the details. Sensitivity to detail can make or break a project. We mentor staff in how buildings go together, and the teachers are taught as well.
Arrington Watkins has systems and tools in place to aid in a Master Planning effort. Our leadership leads a team to focus on improvement of operations and provision of services, support green initiatives and invest in future generations and assess the best use for client resources. Master planning is helping the owner determine their future space needs and documenting the process and results in an understandable manner. As architects and planners, we are uniquely qualified to assist in these efforts because we understand spatial requirements for various functions and activities.
Arrington Watkins Architects has been providing architectural service to government clients, municipalities, corporations and contractor firms throughout the United States for over 23 years. The firm's expertise is in the design and management of projects that are technically complex in their systems, functions or processes. These projects have included public safety facilities, law enforcement, medical installations, high-tech offices and assembly spaces, manufacturing, court facilities, criminal justice facilities, warehouse buildings and emergency operations centers, data centers and justice complexes.
