Since 1994, Stanton Architects, Inc. has provided a beautiful array of residential design to many satisfied clients. We are a small, progressive firm focusing on residential design and construction of single family and multifamily homes, apartments, and condominiums with lobbies, recreation centers, and clubhouses. We are committed to outstanding design and delivery in the client journey. We believe our strengths lie in our Architect led, Design-Build philosophy, creating a stress free, one-stop shop.
A 20th century Chicago condominium needed to be moved into the current century. The clients asked for an open floor plan, a more user-friendly kitchen, a larger bathroom, a new laundry room, and a highly functional office, all with chic modern architectural elements. Full-height walls were taken down and redesigned with two different height room separations opening up the space. The narrow foyer was removed enlarging the kitchen and a pantry was added to the open redesign. Niches and a two-sided fireplace add interest in the living room.
John Stanton's years of combined background in Architecture and Construction have molded the philosophical requirements of his firm, Stanton Architects, Inc. His main objectives are to provide detailed attention to create successful designs that are truly special for his clients. Planning ideas are carefully reviewed based on the client's criteria, environment, and budget. Plans are then created to accommodate the client's needs in a timely manner, efficiently and effectively imparting the integrity of his design.
Rob has worked with Stanton Architects since 2001. He loves to design single family homes that fill a client's every desire, plus a twist, so that it is not like anything else that is out there. He believes home have been forgotten to be brought into the 21st century, and that it's time for an overhaul. So many homes have useless rooms, and don't cater to the way we live today. He thinks good home design should be a reflection of how people actually live, not a representation of how people lived in a storybook world 75 years ago.
