HNP's design team offers more than 145 years of industry experience, and maintains professional registrations in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Mississippi. We are also active members of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and maintain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation. Over the years, HNP has grown steadily in the size, number and diversity of projects undertaken.
At HNP, sustainability is not just a buzzword-it's a guiding principle. Each project presents opportunities to preserve and improve the natural environment, as well as create social space for daily life. Whether it's as simple as saving heritage-quality trees, or as complex as restoring the banks and channel of a stream, our personal satisfaction with our work comes from what we leave behind in the world. HNP Landscape Architecture was established in 1979 by Tommy Holcombe, and has evolved into a full-service landscape architecture firm.
At HNP, our residential projects vary from simple planting plans to the master planning of large estates. Services include the specification of planting materials and siting of all structures, as well as the design of pools, driveways, plus other hardscape features, in addition to construction administration. Each design begins with the preparation of preliminary concepts that attempt to synthesize the owner's needs and desires with the opportunities and constraints presented by the lay of the land.
Fantastic Video on the riverwalk project! We are grateful McGiffert and Associates trusted us to be a part of this keystone project for North Tuscaloosa and could not have asked for a better architect (Ellis) and engineer (Garner) to work alongside. Congratulations to the City and Elevate...
