From historic preservations and leading laboratories to private residences and five-star restaurants, SM+P Architects is responsible for some of Baltimore's most notable architecture. SM+P has completed over 100 laboratories, has 25+ years of Public School Experience and a multitude of various projects that are more technical in nature. Our skills in precision and technical detail show through our list of recognized clients, including: The National Institute of Health, the US Environmental Protection Agency, Howard, Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public School Systems.
Over the past 35 years, SM+P Architects has served clients ranging from restaurants, schools and laboratories to private clubs and residences. For each project, SM+P creates a built product that has truly been crafted. Through the 1980s, the firm continued to expand and bring in new, exciting work. 1984 saw a new location for the growing business and the firm found work in historic preservation, renovation, rehabilitation and adaptive use. The following year, Anthony Machowski parterned with the firm, bringing with him work from the healthcare, education and research industries.
