The firm is the honored recipient of an ASLA, NY Upstate Chapter Built Design Merit award for its Niagara Falls State Park Terrapin Point Reconstruction project. In collaboration with HDR, The LA Group is developing a 20-year, campus-wide stormwater management plan for The United States Military Academy at West Point.

Joseph Sporko has over 30 years of experience in all phases of site analysis, master planning, and design. He oversees public client projects and manages many of the firm's large-scale, open space planning and historic design projects. Michael Ingersoll oversees private client projects and has over 30 years of experience in all phases of site analysis, master planning, landscape design, urban infill planning, recreational planning, residential planning, and detailed landscape design. Donald McPherson is experienced in project design, site analysis, planning, and construction cost estimating and is responsible for overall project administration for the firm's educational and institutional projects.
