Build Pittsburgh, AIA Pittsburgh's annual continuing education conference brings together a community of architects and built industry professionals to engage in institutional learning. The largest, best attended continuing education event in our region, Build Pittsburgh also provides an opportunity to interact, network, and connect with all aspects of the built industry. Established in partnership with the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Institute of Architects, the Pittsburgh Architecture Foundation (PAF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance architects' meaningful and collaborative involvement throughout the Pittsburgh region, fostering civic activism and leadership, promoting sustainability, and improving the well-being of our communities. PAF connects local architects with opportunities to support communities in our region, strengthen pathways for the next generation of architects, and engages the public and decision-makers on the role of design in building an environment that supports human wellbeing.

Our spacious office is equipped with a kitchen, a smart TV, and a portable white board which makes it an ideal space for continuing education, meetings, strategic planning and retreats. With movable furniture, the room can quickly be transformed to suit your needs.

AIA's one-stop shop for all things legislative and political. It is now easier than ever to make your voice heard. With this center, you can find out who your legislators are and how they have voted on issues important to the AIA and the design industry, as well as contact them on the issues important to you. The Pennsylvania Architects PAC enables architects to become the voice of the design and construction industry by positively impacting the relationship AIA Pennsylvania has with the legislature.

AIA Pittsburgh improves the built environment in which we live, work and play by raising the standards of architectural training and practice, supporting our members efforts to design healthy, safe and connected places and spaces, and promoting the value of architectural services to the public.
