BME Associates, founded in 1988, specializes in engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture. We are committed to providing technically sound and practical services that result in municipal or private development projects that can be implemented-not just planned. Our Fairport-based firm has contributed expertise to hundreds of familiar developments in Greater Rochester, including Cobblestone Creek residences and golf course, High Point office park, Eastview Mall's expansion, Pittsford Properties of Spall Homes, The Hammocks at Southern Hills in Perinton, Park Point at RIT, and the Culver Road Armory redevelopment and expansion.

A myriad of challenges faced BME Associates and their client, Riedman Development, as they sought to gain approval for the successful development of The Residences at Canalside, a 48-unit condominium community on a 2.85-acre parcel on the south bank of the Erie Canal in the Village of Fairport. Yet, succeed they did, and the project garnered a 2019 Silver Level Award from the National Association of Homebuilders. Representing highly-respected builder and developer Spall Homes, BME Associates found a means to help the Town of Pittsford and the developer achieve conflicting objectives for 295 acres of land on five non-contiguous parcels.

If one BME competency cuts across virtually all of the projects in our portfolio, it's construction services. We have years of experience on a wide range of development projects. Our attention to detail and communication help move projects to timely and cost-efficient completion. Monitoring and reporting during construction gives an owner and municipal agencies a sense of on-site representation. We will routinely review drawings, keep daily logs, and work closely with contractors, owner's reps, and governing agency staff to benefit job progress.
