The Residence Inn by Marriott is now open in Bala Cynwyd. The hotel sits along the Schuylkill River at the site of the former Pencoyd Iron Works. Coscia Moos designed the hotel to remind visitors of the area’s industrial heritage by preserving and repurposing steel box beams and steel sheets that remained on site.
