The design-build professionals at Bellwether offer more than 25 years of industry experience designing, engineering and supplying complex glazing systems. We partner with architects and installers to turn their ideas into reality-and, in many cases, inspire new ideas. A 40' tall inverted, point supported fin wall redefines the entrance to the Lord & Taylor, Manhasset store. Lord & Taylor recently celebrated the chain's 75th anniversary with a dramatic renovation to its first ever store in the US.
Bellwether creates custom glazing systems. We particularly enjoy the development of new systems that challenge geometric and structural standards. Our approach is to partner our design and engineering professionals with the architectural design team, to break new ground. Our design-build processes have been validated repeatedly in the field, and every structural glazing system is custom built to achieve your design goal. From point supported glazing and structural glass, to curtain walls and skylights, every system we develop is uniquely tailored to the project at hand, whatever the parameters, scale, or challenges.
Bellwether's principals have designed some of the most recognizable skylights in the country, from monumental skylights, to our own standard system design. Our skylights always blend aesthetics with performance for years of inspiration and peace of mind. Bellwether is excited to introduce Insight, our award-winning structural glass skylight system. Architects can now choose value the simplicity and cost effectiveness of a standardized skylight system, but with the uniqueness of all-glass construction.
