PRL Glass Company was founded in 1989 and is now family owned by the Landeros family. The company originally started its operations under a 3,000 square foot building with 3 employees in the city of Santa Ana, Ca. At the start of the business we began offering glass and mirror stock sheets to the Glazing Industry. We slowly started offering fabricated Glass, Shower Doors, All Glass Entrance Doors and Beveled Mirrors. With the idea in mind to have the fastest lead times in the industry. For a period of 10 yrs all of our fabricated tempered glass was tempered by others.
PRL aluminum doors are top quality and functional, without compromising style. Aluminum Doors can be configured as single acting, double acting and accommodate top/bottom pivots, butt hinges, or piano hinges in conjunction with door hydraulic operators to function as center or offset hung. Doors are available in many different styles including adaptable custom designs. Our doors offer strong reinforced and welded corner construction for top performance that permits their use in heavy duty applications or oversize installations.
PRL offers a stunning selection of frameless all-glass doors for commercial and residential entryways. Available in standard and custom all-glass door styles, our streamlined door rails have minimal aluminum glass supports and door hardware that create an expansive, frameless, all-glass door appearance providing a spectacular all-glass view. We offer five standard all-glass door styles in heavy tempered and tempered laminated glass thicknesses ranging from 3/8" to "; our P style all-glass door, BP style, F style, A style, and WS450 all-glass door style.
PRL Insulating Glass Units improve thermal performance by providing a thermal break between the glass and the sealed air spacer. The IG units are a high quality, total energy performance product that translate into reduced energy cost and increased comfort. The IG units will keep the heat in during the cold weather and will retain the heat out during the hot weather. The IG units can give a greater value when conjunction with Low-E and reflective coated glass. Low-E glass should always be insulated with the coating to the inside (surface #2).
