At Rockwood, our commercial millwork expertise includes building display fixtures for libraries and retail stores, such as product stands and nesting display tables. Want to leave an impression on your window shoppers? We can also provide framing for interior storefront windows, such as the ones featured in shopping malls. In commercial and educational spaces, Rockwood has built custom wood frames for doors, sidelights, and transoms, allowing interior offices to make use of borrowed light.

We work in a wide variety of species and finishes, providing custom door frames and an entire range of hardware possibilities. We take challenges in stride - such as shaping radius doors (for radius walls) and using unique materials like fabric, leather, metal, or stone.

Among our recent custom millwork projects are box beams mitered to look like solid beams, hand-hewn beams made with antique tools, wire brushings, and hand-planing for a rustic, heirloom look.

Shapes, sizes, species, details, and finishes can be tailored to a client's exact needs. In addition, Rockwood provides door hardware, custom door frames, locks, and doors machined for hardware.

Recently, we crafted end cap panels for library bookcases using cherry and faux leather. We also build partition windows, computer station kiosks, and matching workspace furniture, such as desks and conference tables.
