All are designed to best meet the needs of every budget. Fiberglass doors are very energy-efficient and can be painted or stained to create either a solid or wood-grained appearance to best enhance the beauty of the home. Vinyl or Aluminum patio doors are designed to be energy-efficient in our extreme desert conditions and require no finishing or maintenance.

American Openings history began as a family-owned, Tucson, Arizona business founded in 1992 as a direct-to-builder manufacturer of replacement windows and doors to the local trades. This was a significant change to the local door and window market as Tucson builders could now save money by purchasing directly from a local manufacturer instead of from a larger distribution center. In 2000, American Openings began to manufacture our own brand of energy-efficient replacement windows that we designed especially to deal with the extreme summer weather conditions of Southern Arizona.
