We take pride in pushing the boundaries of glazing in such areas as antique mirrors, glass railings and back painted glass. Our experience, combined with long-term relationships with remodelers, architects and designers, has given our talented staff the ability to create innovative, award winning glass applications throughout the Southeast. Our glass experts guide and nurture our clients from the early planning stages of a custom glass project, through the renovation process, and beyond. We specialize in shower doors and enclosures, but take pride in pushing the boundaries of glazing in such areas as curved glass and glass floors.
Drexler Shower Door Company continues to follow the latest CDC guidelines and precautions. The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority! Our representatives wear masks and utilize hand sanitizer prior to entering your home. We are diligent in our efforts to make sure our installers are healthy and have not been exposed to anyone with symptoms. While in your home, we will not touch any surfaces other than those where your product is being installed. Thank you for trusting us to serve you and your family during this time.
At Drexler, we've been shaping and innovating the glass industry for over 60 years. From shower doors and decorative mirrors to completely customized glass entryways and balconies, we've worked with homeowners, designers and contractors to create some of the most unique custom glass projects in the Atlanta, Georgia area. We are also able to custom-cut replacement glass for fixtures or home furnishings where the existing glass has been damaged or shattered. For more information on ordering replacement glass, please contact our staff.
At Drexler Custom Glass, we design, build and install beautiful framed and frameless glass railing and handrail systems for commercial offices, residential spaces, and balconies. Our glass experts also have the experience and training to ensure that your new glass railing systems will all be built and installed according to all applicable building codes and safety standards. Whether you have detailed architectural plans or just an idea of what you're interested in, Drexler can help you turn your dream into a reality!
Whether you are remodeling an existing bathroom or working on a new construction project, Drexler Shower Door & Custom Glass offers Atlanta's largest selection of frameless shower doors, bath enclosures, specialty glass and frameless hardware. Our family began designing custom, high-quality glass shower doors over 50 years ago and we have continued to be the industry leader in innovation and design to this day.
At Drexler, we have been Atlanta's leading glass experts since 1953 and we pride ourselves on only offering the highest quality custom mirrors and glass shelving at an affordable price. Mirrors are a common addition to bathroom and bedroom remodels, but mirrored glass can add an extra element of class and style to any room in your home or office. Decorative mirrors can also be incorporated into your interior design plans to make smaller rooms "feel" larger and more open. Although we can certainly accommodate orders for standard mirrors and typical residential dimensions, but what really makes Drexler special is our ability to help our customers transform their custom or unique mirrored glass designs into a reality.
With proper cleaning and maintenance you should expect many years of beautiful service from your new shower enclosure. First, if you are considering a new, frameless shower enclosure, we strongly recommend using ShowerGuard glass, which has a built-in surface protectant and warranty. We recommend applying Invisible Shield renewable surface protectant to new glass, and re-applying every several months as needed. Use a Cleret Shower Squeegee to remove excess water and soap after each shower. Allowing hard water to remain on the door could damage the glass or metal hardware over time.
When multiple glass panes or "lites" are assembled into units, they are commonly referred to as insulated glass or insulating glass units (IGUs). These units use the thermal and acoustic insulating properties of a gas (or vacuum) contained in the space formed by the unit. Most IGUs are double glazed, but IGUs with three sheets or more, i.e. "triple glazing", are becoming more common due to higher energy costs. Insulated glazing may be framed in a sash, frame or in a curtain wall, providing good insulation without sacrificing transparency.
