We are a third generation family business that has been serving customers of the Metropolitan area since 1934. We live and work in this community and support other small local businesses. Although our children are in school, they have all worked part-time with us, making them the fourth generation to join the company. Our founder, Philip Heyman, comes to America as an orphan and finds a job with his Uncles, who own Heyman Brothers Furniture store in Jersey City. After working as a salesman and learning the retail trade for 14 years, he has saved enough money to open his own shop in Plainfield, NJ.
