Dryspace has worked as a commercial, industrial, institutional roofing and waterproofing firm serving the Eastern Iowa community since 1972. Born as a branch office of an old line roofing company established in 1932 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, we established our own identity, became locally owned and changed our name in 1989 to better reflect what we do. Dryspace has the reputation as a problem solver in the industry. This pursuit of all things related to water entry led us to become more than a roofing company over the years.
Carrying on the expertise handed down from journeyman to apprentice; our people learn the basics of roofing through tried and true methods proven through hundreds of years of application. Training in the art of traditional built-up roofing systems impresses upon each and every one of our craftsmen the basics of waterproofing a building without compromising the ability of the surrounding and underlying building components to move, support, and integrate into the living, breathing entity that it is.
Underground, under slab, plaza decks and anyplace that is difficult to access the waterproofing layer - we shine. Our product line includes warrantable waterproofing materials backed by major manufacturers giving us the flexibility to keep your facility dry top and bottom.
We offer yearly, semiannual, or any frequency desired for inspections, minor repairs, debris removal, forecasting of potential problems and help with planning of expenditures needed to maintain facilities large and small watertight and worry free.
We aligned ourselves with leaders in the industry to provide a myriad of coatings to fit the need for any situation. Whether it is the initial surfacing of the roofing system to provide an esthetic upgrade, a coating to maintain the integrity of the roofing membrane, or to reduce the heat load of the roofing system by increasing the reflectivity and emissivity of any membrane, we have a coating manufacturer to consult with and provide us with the correct coating for the project. Low VOC coatings, asphalt based, acrylic water based and urethane coatings are readily available for installation.
