In April of 1994, ourcompany started as Confidential Background Investigations, which provided background services to employers of Salt Lake City, Utah and surrounding areas. In August of 1995, we partnered with the Salt Lake City Corporation and started our first physical security service at the city and county building in downtown Salt Lake City. The relationship has developed over the past 20 years to include 5 additional locations, making CBI the largest security contractor for the city of Salt Lake.
