Say goodbye to false alarms. With audio sensors and video equipment that cover every inch of your facility, we can easily verify whether an alarm is a mistake or an intruder. So the police arrive to your facility quicker. No more second guessing what happens when you're away. We install and monitor the latest cameras and digital video recorders in your facility to give you proof of what's happening onsite-even if you're offsite. Sonitrol has prevented countless break-ins and we have actually caught several assailants.
In the early 1960s, Robert Baxter of Anderson, Indiana invented sound-based technology to detect termites in walls. Baxter and Cronk modified the equipment to work as a security system and, in 1964, Sonitrol (from combining "sound" and "control") became a reality. Today, Sonitrol provides local service to cities across the US, and to several in Canada and the UK. Having worked as a Dallas police officer, Sonny Bates experienced first-hand the higher apprehension rates of Sonitrol alarms. So, in 1984, he bought Sonitrol of Lexington so he could catch more criminals and protect his neighbors.
Worried about who goes where in your facility? We install and monitor electronic ID cards and door readers that let you control which areas employees and visitors can access. Plus, changing access is easy, so you'll never have to pay hefty costs to re-key your facility. With Managed Access, our core service, we can monitor your access controls 24/7 from our central monitoring station. We can record cardholders, correlate video and access events, and generate entry and exits reports, so you know exactly who's going where.
Does your fire alarm system call help for you? Ours do. We install smoke and heat detectors and monitor them 24/7, so we can call the fire department as soon as fire strikes. Keeping your facility and the people in it safe. We also work with local fire departments on plan submittals, permits and inspections. Making sure we design and install smoke and fire detection systems that comply with local codes.
When an alarm is detected, we use audio sensors to give officers real-time information about the suspect, helping them respond to the scene quickly, safely and strategically. And when a police officer apprehends a suspect because of one of our alarms, we give them a Certificate of Excellence and a branded duty bag. Just as a "thank you" for their hard work and quick response to our alarms. If you use our intrusion system and have a forced entry that we don't detect, we'll pay the first $10,000 of your loss in addition to what your insurance pays.
